What kind of power supply does
the soft serve machine need ?
The machine needs a dedicated 115 volt, 20 amp circuit. It plugs into a
standard wall outlet, but no other major electrical device can run on
the same circuit. Raff’s will supply a heavy duty, 10 guage extension
cord, if
needed.
How long does the soft serve mix
take
to be finished (frozen) ?
Allow approximately 10-12 minutes after pouring into the machine for
the soft serve mix to be ready for serving. The machine will
temporarily turn itself off when the soft serve is ready.
How many servings does one batch
of soft serve mix yield ?
A one gallon batch of soft serve mix will yield approximately two
gallons of product. Expect approximately 40 average servings per batch.
Does the soft serve rental come
with toppings ?
Raff’s has different toppings packages to suit your needs, based on the
size of your group. Typical standard toppings are crushed nuts,
chocolate and caramel syrup, sprinkles. Ask Raff for custom toppings
and sundae bar, such as crushed candy cane or wedding cake flavor soft
serve.
Does the rental include the soft
serve mix ?
Yes! Each Raff’s soft serve rental includes one gallon
Is the machine easy to operate ?
Yes! Just pull on the handle and dispense the soft serve into your bowl
or cone. Raff can supply an attendant for an additional fee. This is
especially helpful for large groups, where an attendant can monitor the
machine by adding product, refilling the toppings station, or assisting
the guests with dispensing the product.
Do I need to clean the machine ?
Nope! Raff’s is in charge of delivering your machine, setting it up,
and breaking it down. Just sit back and enjoy your favorite soft serve!
